Tom Anderson is a DevOps engineer who lives and breathes infrastructure reliability and scalability. With over 11 years of experience in DevOps and cloud computing, Tom has built and maintained infrastructure for companies ranging from small startups to Fortune 500 enterprises.

Before joining Vandelay, Tom worked at several tech giants, including Microsoft, Amazon Web Services, and Google. His expertise lies in designing resilient, scalable infrastructure that can handle millions of requests while maintaining high security standards.

At Vandelay, Tom is responsible for our entire infrastructure stack, from cloud architecture to CI/CD pipelines to security protocols. He’s instrumental in deploying our AI platform to production environments across the globe, ensuring high availability and low latency for all customers.

Tom is known for his obsession with automation and efficiency. He’s implemented sophisticated CI/CD pipelines that allow teams to deploy code multiple times per day with confidence, comprehensive monitoring systems that provide real-time visibility into system performance, and automated security scanning that catches vulnerabilities before they become problems.

When he’s not ensuring infrastructure reliability, Tom enjoys diving into the latest video games, experimenting with new recipes in the kitchen, playing board games with friends, and camping in the Pacific Northwest’s beautiful wilderness.
